Oshki Kizis Lodge is part of the Aboriginal Women's Support Centre - Minwaashin Lodge. We are a 19-bed shelter for First Nations, Inuit, and Metis women & children who are fleeing abuse or homelessness. We recognize that Aboriginal women & children, families and communities have experienced abuse. We recognize that our people need culturally appropriate services to foster healing.

By empowering women, we assist them on their healing path to a safe & healthy place. We support the family unit holistically by showing awareness and respect for individual and cultural beliefs, spirituality and diversity.

Oshki Kizis offers many culturally appropriate services such as: support, advocacy, counselling, referrals, court accompaniment, traditional teachings, elders, crafts, community support, transitional support, educational services, crisis intervention, child & youth advocacy, 24-hour residential support, hospital visits. Our clients receive assistance in accessing housing, financial, legal and medical resources.
